The technology used by us is an International Process and Standards which produce 100% success rate & satisfactory performance of the job post repair. The main feature of this process is that the base material temperature is maintained below 200 deg. Centigrade and the metal deposition takes place at the surface (sub-critical) as a result of which there is no change in the metallurgical properties of the base material of the Crank shaft pin / journal. The required hardness is attained on the rebuilt surface as per the original specifications of the Crankshaft. The molten particles strike the prepared surface at high velocity and freeze instantly to form the coating deposit.
The maximum possible depth of rebuilt surface is 4 - 5 mm radially. The metal deposition takes place on the rebuilt surface of Journal/Pin by a special process at very high velocity and very low temperature. During this process, the material which is to be deposited is brought to a plastic stage, atomised and propelled at a very high velocity towards the prepared substrate to form a coating.
